Founded in 1884 by the Poor Clare Sisters, St Clare’s College provides a Catholic education for young women in the Franciscan tradition.
The College provides a very strong academic program that is designed to foster enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn that will equip students to meet the challenges of a changing and technology-rich world. The academic program is supplemented by formal enrichment and learning support programs to cater for students with a wide range of interests and ability.
Pastoral Care is incorporated into every aspect of College life with an emphasis on the development of positive relationships, resiliency and leadership.
Life at St Clare’s is enriched by student involvement in co-curricular activities with a focus on academic pursuits, social justice and environmental initiatives as well as involvement in representative and local sporting competitions.
