Science Olympiad

Five of our very best Science students sat the Science Olympiad Chemistry exam this morning. Helen Ktenas, Jessica Valenzuela, Anjahli Menon, Ella Schrivers and Rebecca Marzol are to be commended for taking on such a tough challenge.

The Science Olympiad is the ultimate challenge for Science students. The first step is to sit one of the exams in either Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Earth and Environmental Science. Based on the performances in one of these exams around one hundred students are invited to attend the Summer School. From the Summer School around seventeen students are selected to represent the country at the International Science Olympiads.

We look forward to reporting back on how our girls performed. Next week Ella Schrivers and Janice Nyoto take on the Physics paper.
