Archbishop of Sydney Awards for Student Excellence

Last Friday, Archbishop Anthony Fisher presented his annual Awards for Student Excellence to students across the Archdiocese. One of the forty-nine students who received an award was our own Alyssa Valenzuela. Being recognised in this way is a wonderful tribute to Alyssa and acknowledges her contribution to the College over the past six years.

The Catholic Weekly website highlighted each student who received an award with a special tribute from their College communities.

“Alyssa is a young woman of high moral character, and a strong leader at St Clare’s College. She embodies the values and qualities that are displayed in our College motto: ‘My God in All Things.’ Alyssa’s sense of responsibility reflects faith, friendship and honesty. She is an active member of the Student Leadership Team and is also active in her service to the choir in her parish. Her genuine care and support of others make her an exemplary role model for her peers.”
