Year 12 Farewells Underway

This week we say farewell to an amazing group of young women. The farewells began last Friday with the Year 12 Formal and continued today with the Year 12 girls hosting a lovely morning tea for the staff followed by the emotional farewells from their Houses.

The morning tea was a great way for the girls to say thanks to the staff of the College for all the support they have given the girls over the past six years. This included all the support staff who do so much in the background to ensure the smooth running of the College and who are usually the first port of call for the girls when things go awry. Each staff member received a lovely gift from the girls as a small token of their appreciation.

The House farewells were extremely emotional for the girls and many of the staff. The connection each girl has to their House is very deep and is a very special part of life at the College. Saying goodbye is much like saying goodbye to a family member. An enormous amount of preparation went into the farewells under the guidance of our fabulous Deans. They are amazing people who give so much of themselves to the girls and the College.
