International Women’s Day
Last Friday the College community gathered to recognise International Women’s Day. The assembly was one of the most inspirational gatherings we have had at the College for some time with speeches from Sophie Smith who established Running for Premature Babies, our own Ms Louise Winchester, former captain of the Women’s Australian Touch Football team, and our College Principal, Mrs Antoinette McGahan. We were also fortunate to have Tashoni Hardy, co-founder of the Dresses for Drought program, send a video message thanking our community for the contribution we made to the program.
All speeches were hugely inspirational and our students were fortunate to hear from such amazing women. We hope it inspires each of them to go out and set the world on fire once they finish their time at St Clare’s.
