Australian Education Awards 2019
The College received notification during the week that we had been selected as a finalist in the ‘Best STEM Project’ category for the 2019 Australian Education Awards. The project that was selected was ‘Sustainability: Whose Responsibility?’ This was a project that developed out of our partnership with Sydney University’s STEM Teacher Enrichment Academy.
The project was based around the life cycle of the Sydney Stingless Bee and involved our 7.1 class from 2018. The selection as a finalist in this category is a tribute to the hard work of the staff involved in both planning and implementing the project. It is also recognises the wonderful work our 7.1 class from last year created in response to the project. The winners will be announced on August 16 at a formal ceremony in Darling Harbour.
