Beanie for Brain Cancer
Over the last week our College has been involved in raising money for a cause very close to our hearts. The ‘Beanie for Brain Cancer‘ movement has done an enormous amount of work over the last few years to not only raise money for research into the disease, but also raise awareness into how prevalent the disease is in our society.
Over the last week the College has raised $2500 through the sale of beanies which is just amazing! On top of that, the final tally for our ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ was almost $4500. Incredible!
A massive thanks to our Year 12 leadership team for their tireless efforts in promoting both causes. To do this under the pressure of managing the HSC workload is extremely impressive. Huge thanks also to Courtney and Jo McNally for the never ending work they do behind the scenes to ensure these events are always a success.
