It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to St Clare’s College Waverley.
The College
Founded in 1884 by the Poor Clare Sisters, St Clare’s College provides a Catholic education for young women in the Franciscan tradition.

Curriculum
St Clare’s College offers a wide range of subjects that provides students with the opportunity to gain confidence and engage in experiences that promote life long learning. Students are challenged to develop their academic and social skills in nurturing surroundings.

Year 4 Curriculum Day
What fun we had on Friday 18 November when students from our feeder schools came to visit us and spend the day being St Clare’s students. The day began with a Welcome by the school House Captains who organised name tags for our guests after which a School Spirit Activity was held so that everyone could meet one another. The excitement was palatable as the girls toured the school in groups to attend classes including; Creative IT, Science, Food Tech and PDHPE (Personal Development, Health and Physical Education). Year 7 2017 Orientation Day
The Year 7 2017 cohort joined our Community for the first time on Friday 4 November. We had a Parent Information evening on Tuesday 1 November and the Orientation Day on Friday 4 November. Our new students enjoyed a taste of being in high school by experiencing classes in Food Tech, Art and Science. They enjoyed a BBQ lunch and were each presented with their new school bag. Indeed, it was a delight to welcome new, existing and returning families to our St Clare’s Community.
St Clare’s Got Talent Show
St Clare’s Day, Monday 22nd August, ended with the St Clare’s Got Talent Show which gave some of our students the opportunity to share their talents with us! Click on this LINK to see the contestants.
