It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to St Clare’s College Waverley.

The College

Founded in 1884 by the Poor Clare Sisters, St Clare’s College provides a Catholic education for young women in the Franciscan tradition.

Wellbeing

The wellbeing of every St Clare’s girl is our highest priority.

Curriculum

St Clare’s College offers a wide range of subjects that provides students with the opportunity to gain confidence and engage in experiences that promote life long learning. Students are challenged to develop their academic and social skills in nurturing surroundings.

Study Hubs

This year the College has introduced a new format to our timetable structure. Each Day 8 of the fortnightly cycle has been restructured to allow staff to spend two hours on sustained professional development sessions. To accommodate this the periods are shortened to fifty minutes with students finishing classes at 2:10pm. At the conclusion of classes Study Hubs commence in the College Library. Open Days 2019

Our Open Days are a wonderful opportunity to see why St Clare’s is such a fantastic place. On Tuesday 26th February, the College will be hosting its first Open Day for 2019. This will be a chance to meet staff and students as well as being taken on tours of the College facilities. Throughout the year there will be further opportunities to tour the College and witness the type of learning that takes place within the College. Parents and Friends Cocktail Evening

Our Hospitality team spent all day preparing for the Parents and Friends Meet and Greet Cocktail evening last Friday. The incredible array of beautiful food available to our guests is testament to the dedication and commitment of our staff and students. The evening was a great success, providing those new to the St Clare’s community an opportunity to embrace the magnificent spirit that exists within the walls of our College.
