Our Year 7 girls from the Claverie House spent time with the residents of Illowra Nursing Home as part of Gratitude Day. It was a great experience for all involved and we are delighted to be able to share some images from the visit.
Our Year 9 students prepared gifts for the patients at the Children’s Hospital at Randwick as part of their involvement in Gratitude Day. Our Year 10 and 11 Spiritual Leaders are at the opening of the Australian Catholic Youth Festival at Quodos Bank Arena, Homebush today. This should be a wonderful celebration of the Catholic faith and and a magnificent experience for our young leaders. The event is being live streamed on Youtube each day at various times. While our Year 7 students were visiting nursing homes around the area the other year groups looked at ways they could bring joy to the lives of others. Our Year 11 students created birthday cards for children in care, Christmas boxes for our Australian soldiers on deployment overseas and back to school resource bags for refugee children.
