Throughout the year we open the College to members of the wider community who are interested in joining the St Clare’s family. This week we had a large number of visitors spending time in and around the College. There were a number of activities happening to give visitors a glimpse into what happens in different subject areas. The next opportunity will be early next term when we hope to welcome many more visitors on July 27 from 2-3:30pm.
Congratulations to three of our Year 11 students, Sarra Mourad, Veronica Wenn and Maria Roussou who have been accepted into UNSW Quantum Experience program. The world-leading Centre for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology (cqc2t.org), based at UNSW, is hosting a five-day experience program for female high school students with a demonstrated interest in quantum computing, physics or mathematics. The venue for Friday 23rd June Quarter Finals is Santa Sabina College at Strathfield. The 9B debate starts at 7.30pm. We hope to see as many parents and friends as possible to support our fabulous girls.
This term, our class 9.1 was grateful to have the opportunity to extend our learning in Religious Education. Our class was selected to develop a series of creative aids that focused on the history of St Clare’s College and how it will continue to thrive as a community.
