Congratulations to Janice and Maggie for creating such a great car in their first attempt at the UNSW Sunsprint Challenge. Two of our Year 11 Hospitality Students competed today in ‘Worldskills’. A purpose built competition for VET students in a range of frameworks. This incredible event was hosted by Waverley College. Sasha Lee and Teresa Burchell created a 3 course meal against twenty of the finest Hospitality students across the Eastern Region. Each dish had to be completed in a set time with select ingredients with participants assessed by a panel of judges, much like the Masterchef TV program. On Tuesday 5 September, Year 12 Hospitality will be taking over Flamez Eatery Restaurant at Maroubra Beach. The girls have been working hard with the Head Chef and manager to develop a theme, menu, invitation and tickets for this event.
